Verona in Secret, The Second meeting of the Forbidden Lovers, in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet
By : Lisa Smith
As we begin, we find Romeo, who has just entered the Capulet's garden. He is creeping for Juliet because he is so in love with her. I think he forgot his common sense, because he seemed to have left it at home
Oh, Love is bringing me to Juliet!
Romeo happened to sneak up on Juliet telling the night about Romeo (LOL YEAH TOTALLY NORMAL) and he hears her devote her love to him! How sweet. She also talks about how she hates that he is a Montague
ahh why is Romeo such a hunk and why do you have to be Romeo??
oof, I shouldn't be listening to her private thoughts, but she loves me too!
Than Romeo lets Juliet know he was there and heard everything. She's like oh no but Romeo let's her known everything is okay
Hey it's Romeo. Yes baby and I will change my name for you!
oh no! were you listening to my private thoughts?!?
Juliet worries her family will find Romeo and kill him, but he couldn't help coming here. Romeo and Juliet then confess their love for each and swear by many different things that they truly do. You know, cringey teenage couple things.
Every other girl out there is extremely jealous of your level of beauty. I love you so much I swear
I love you more! Don't swear by anything. Prove it!
I will miss you! I love you. I'm so sad I have to go! Good night dearest Romeo. See you Tomorrow!
Finally, the lovebirds make plans to get married because they are that in love. It is eventually time for Juliet to go to sleep and they say their good nights and last devotions of love to one another. Before they part ways, Romeo says he will send a messenger at 9am, to make plans for their wedding
Good night Juliet. I can't wait to marry you, I'll send a messenger at 9am to make plans for the day.
