Storyboard Description

In this stroyboard indivudals are describing there lives in the Hoovervilles. As well the representation of Herbert Hoover being a conservative so he is barely being involved in this drastic event and many indivudals are doing nothing so the citizens are assuming he is chilling somewhere wathcing the country suffer. This is why he is depicted on an island. As well, you can see him discussing his conservatve idealogies at a government building. In the first and third block, you can see people showing their Hooverville homes and there opinions. In the fourth box, a father is having a flashback on his life in the Great Plains before everything went to hell. The fifth box is a women showing what is now left of her once home and how everything is utterly destroyed and full of desparity.

Storyboard Text

  • We have nothing. All Hoover is doing is sitting and watching us suffer.
  • With being a conservative, I should not be greatly influential in the government and daily lives.
  • This is my Hooverville Home. I'm lucky enough to live  in this this home of scrap wood.
  • I remember the good old days of farming and enjoying the country but we had to move do to the new conditions.
  • My family and I lost everything from the drought to the dust storms to the banks closing. I'm sure Hoover is up there chilling, having a grand old time. 
  • Herbert Hoover having a grand old time, not helping the country or the citizens.
