Storyboard Text

  • What's this? I haven't seen this leaver in dad's car before...
  • Prologue
  • There's a door! Let's open it and see where it takes us!
  • That sounds interesting...I'll come with you.
  • Are you certain it's safe? It's quite odd, doors in trees...
  • Conflict
  • Seriously...?
  • Rising Action
  • Stop shouting at me!
  • Get. Away. From. ME!
  • It is early morning in the park. Three sisters, Astrid, Aowyn and Sorscha, come across a strange door in a nearby tree, that leads them through a dark passage into a strange fairyland. Two boys, Luca and Aramis, are fixing their fathers car. Aramis suddenly finds a leaver in the footwell. Intrigued, they abandon their work, pull the leaver and are transported to fairyland as well.
  • Climax
  • I'm sorry I yelled, Aowyn.
  • It's alright. I forgive you.
  • What just happened?
  • Both the girls' and boys' clothes and hairstyles magically change into a medieval style (much to Astrid's horror) as soon as they are in fairyland. A while later, the five spot each other in a clearing in the forest. Aowyn instantly falls in love with blond-haired Luca and Sorscha quickly has a crush on Aramis. Astrid, on the other hand, doesn't like either of them one bit. A little sprite called Puckette is leaning over them as this happens and accidentally drops a love potion over Aramis and Luca.
  • Falling Action
  • Look! There's the door.
  • The potion works its effects on the two boys and they both immediately fall in love with Astrid, who backs away and yells at them to leave her alone. Sorscha, who see's what's happening becomes shocked, then sad, then angry. Aowyn tries to comfort Sorscha, but she takes all her anger out on her. Aowyn becomes angry too and starts shouting at Sorscha. Suddenly, this calm evening in the forest becomes rowdy with yells and shouts, all because of a clumsy, little sprite.
  • Denouement
  • You've been dreaming...
  • It was real, wasn't it? It couldn't have been a dream.
  • In order to fix things, Puckette transports the five to another clearing. She plants a flower that then sprays a magic pollen on the boys as she flies away. The boys become normal again and are wondering what happened. Meanwhile, Sorscha and Aowyn are apologising for their outbursts earlier as Astrid is sitting under a tree wondering about what happened and why.
  • What happened to us 5 minutes ago?
  • I have no idea.
  • Phew! It worked.
  • Astrid, Aowyn, Sorscha, Ararmis and Luca leave the clearing and start wondering around the forest, looking for the way out. All of them have had enough for one night. As they are walking into another clearing, Aowyn suddenly spots the door they came through at the begining. They sprint over to it, tug it open and shut it behind them.
  • The five fling open the door and climb out of the tree into the park again, where surprisingly it's still 8:00 am. Their medieval clothes change back to normal again (much to Astrid's relief). Aramis and Luca go back to their unfinished work as the sisters are about to leave. Suddenly, a small voice, like a fairy's, whispers to them from the darkness inside the open door. "You've been dreaming," it says. Then the door gently closes by itself.
  • The weird leaver's gone then...
