Storyboard Text

  • Reflecting on her dream, Lucy yearned to ask the woman, who seems to be her mother, why she was always in her dream. Lucy lived in an old, torn house with her only family member, Shadow the dragon. Shadow was always there for her, no matter what had happened.
  • Frame 1: Exposition
  • During her walk, Lucy met a messenger who told her that she was the long-lost princess since Lucy wore the jade necklace. After agreeing to go to the palace, she told Miss Margaret, her teacher, about it, who then gave Lucy a lavender bracelet to help her in emergencies.
  • Frame 2: Steps 1 and 3
  • "This bracelet will help you."
  • "What?"
  • "Miss, you are the long-lost Princess."
  • At the banquet, Lucy's father, the King, and another man fought about whether she should go to battle or not. Lucy hesitated about going and finally decided that she will go to battle for the sake of her father.
  • Frame 3: Steps 2 and 6
  • "No!"
  • "The Princess should go to battle!"
  • Frame 4: Step 6
  • Frame 5: Step 6
  • Frame 6: Steps 7-12
  • Hooray!
  • "Think about why you came here, do you really want to die now? You have to believe in yourself!"
  • At the time of the battle, Lucy used the lavender bracelet to help her. Amazed by the power, Lucy got greedy and used the bracelet constantly, causing the bracelet to lose its power. Suddenly, one of the enemies charged right at her while Lucy wasn't paying attention.
  • As Lucy thought about the death of Shadow, which resulted from her greediness, depression flooded her. Therefore, she wore a mask of impassiveness and fought her enemies tirelessly and tried to kill herself as she couldn't handle the guilt left from Shadow's death.
  • Eventually, Lucy won the battle, bringing victory back to the kingdom. With imaginary Shadow's advice, Lucy was able to realize that she didn't need to rely on others and she was able to reach her goal with faith in herself.
