No more town meetings
More British Soldiers/ quartering
The colonists weren't allowed to have town meetings anymore beacuse fear that they may get together and conspire against the king. (Eventually leads up to the continental congress)
The king also closed down the harbors to prevent the colonies from trading or recieving any goods as punishment for dumping the tea into the ocean.
And just to rub salt into the wound, the king sent more soldiers to the colonies in order to keep an eye on the colonists. Which also meant that the colonists would now have to quarter more soldiers. Good bye food!
