  • Shots of the people in the towns, Kids playing, people walking dogs. Voice over “the people of the communities all had a different experience in the earthquake, some of heroism and others of tragedy and luck.”
  • Interview #3
  • Interview Candi about her experience in the earthquake. Ask, ‘what was the first thing you did once the earthquake hit? ‘what was your first priority once you family was safe?’
  • Interview #4
  • Shots of the Ward school. Voice over “Most parents went through the trumer of worrying about their children in the big quake. This caused major stress levels for the children in the communities also affecting the schools attendance as well as the learning conditions.”
  • Closing scene
  • Interview Mrs Pringle. Ask ‘in the immediate aftermath of the quake what was you first response for the school?’ ‘What happened?’ When school did come back what did classes resume doing?’ what was the stress levels and work ethics for the students like?’
  • Interview Anae at Ward school. Ask, ‘What happened to you in the earthquake?’ ‘when you went back to school what did you do in class?’ How focused would you say you were? Was it difficult to concentrate?
  • Film shots of the schools with voice over, “the earthquake had significant effects of the youth of the committees worst hit by the big quake but through generous donations from all over the country these schools have got back on their feet and are now thriving.”
