Storyboard Text

  • Hello Gentlemen! I see you have both come to help discus the power of the new Constitution
  • Good day General Washington!
  • Hello General, Hot weather were having!
  • Yes sir, I am in favor of establishing a strong national government
  • I disagree, the greatest power should belong to the state governments
  • I will preside over the convention from here. Lets hear your stances.
  • We need a strong Federal Government with more power in order to keep the peace. The Constitution needs to be the law of the land, States cant run around making their own laws!
  • I very much disagree. Giving all the power to the federal government is to much like a monachy! The states need to meet the individual needs of their people!
  • To protect states rights, they can make all the laws/ rules not designated to the federal government...
  • ... And in return the Constitution will be the law of the land, and states cannot make laws against it
  • Excellent compromise men, lets put it on paper and finish this Constituion!
