On their voyage, the Puritans encounter a harsh storm and debate on whether or not they should head back home. In the end, they decided to continue.
After a long journey, the Puritans arrive at Plymouth. They do not know what to do or how to adjust. They are also feel unsafe about the Indians and the Indians the same way, therefore they avoid one another.
An English speaking Indian, Samoset, approached the Puritans and started a conversation. The Puritans and the Native Americans eventually became allies, and helped each other survive.
