There were many animals living in the Manor Farm. From pigs to horses, to cows.
But there was one thing that bothered all the common animals: Mr. Jones. He was the farmer that drank heavily and most often neglected all the animals. He would use force and whip the animals from his hungover rage and impatientness.
All the animals were very frustrated and came together to agree that they had to get rid of Mr. Jones. One afternoon the animals teamed up against him and chased the farmer away from the Manor Farm. Mr. Jones represents Tsar Nicholas 2 of Russia and how the revolution forced him out of power.
Vote for Napolean and the full manager
With a new sense of freedom, the animals return at peace. They start dreaming of improvements and a better future, hopeful for more food and better education.
Napolean symbolizes Stalin, the Soviet politician. The pink pig is an idealist and a great speaker: Snowball thinks of the long term and wants to build a windmill. Napolean, on the other hand, wants to focus on filling the mangers
Napolean and Snowball couldn't agree, so it was decided to let the common animals vote. Napolean used his minions to spread propaganda while Snowball spoke to his voters, convincing them of his plan.
