Storyboard Text

  • I was born with too much "brain juice." I don't have any special talents like the other Indians on the reservation
  • These are the same books my mom used! I need to leave the reservation and go to a public school. Even if I am bullied!
  • Arnold: Even through the bullying, I made the basketball team. We're going to win! Rowdy: No you won't! I'll knock you unconscious! Arnold: REMATCH! -- I opened up with an awesome play and now we win!
  • But I have to admit, I feel torn between these two schools...
  • Arnold lost a lot of people in his life. When he did, the people of the reservation forgave him and ended the silence they have been keeping against his since he decided to go to the other school
  • Arnold accepts himself for who he is and realizes that he does not need to split his life, but instead embrace it!
  • Arnold and Rowdy make up. Rowdy tells Arnold is very much like nomads.Arnold has come to terms with his sense of self.
