Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Walker are both teachers and River View Middle School and they want to teach their kids all about the different types of Economy. So they decided to take them to all kinds of different stores with all different types of economy.
All of the students were very excited for their field trip and couldn't wait to learn more about their economy.
They all boarded the bus and headed to their first stop Henry's Ice cream Bar to learn about Traditional Economy.
At Henery's Ice Cream Bar we learned that they are run by traditional economy and that means goods and services are produced the way they always have been.
Then we got back on the bus and headed to a farmers market to learn about Market Economy.
At the Farmers Market we learned that Market Economy means that resources are controlled and owned by the people of the country and the farmers market was owned by a small family that grew all their crops on their own.
