This is Annabeth, minding her own business in her room. She loves books, but is the only child with no mother. But when her mother was alive, her mother taught her how to read when she was younger.
Everyday, her and her father would fight. He always said, "You need to get your head out of those stupid books!"
"There's no place like home..there's no place like home.."
And with that being said, she ran far, far away, until she stopped at a magic, sparkling river that she thought looked so pretty. Tears started bringing her face down. Until a boy came out from behind her.
She heard a noise behind her, and she wasn't confused anymore. She screamed as she looked in front of her. The boy handed her a dagger and then disappeared. At that point she was confused again.
One of the monsters came running towards her, and as she swung her dagger and hit the first monster to his fate, the other monster did the same thing, and she struck it with her dagger, than ran off to home, saying to herself, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home.."
After finding her way back home, she ran straight into her house and was so happy to see her father again, and ran to him in open arms.
