Ugh! I have to be awake already? At least it isn't as early as it was when I was an MP working at the House of Commons. That opportunity gave me the chance to be in the place where the Federal government introduces bills based on current Canadians.
I'm late! I need to get to the Parlement Building quick. I've got rows of seats in the House of Commons and especially the Senate otherwise the Senators will get very grumpy. They'll complain about the building that they bring up issues and topics that concern Canadians.
I’m about to go meet a new group that wants me to sway and convince a new legislator since what I do best is influencing people's decisions.
Oh hi Jeff, what's up?
Most people don’t care about how bills become laws. Most people don’t even know that bills have to pass through numerous stages of viewing before being implemented on the public. Or that some of these stages include; The House of Commons, Senate, Governor General, and Committees. If Parliament decided it was worth opening up to the public, it was probably pretty big issue!
I've got to hurry and finish up my speech for the media, couldn't he just watch where he was going?!
