Storyboard Text

  • Mom took us shopping to buy a few groceries from Target at the mall.
  • "Logan,we should buy this laser tag toy. It's only $49, and we will have enough if we both use our allowance."
  • "OK.  Let's buy it!"
  • Lots of people were all waiting in line to pay.
  • "Logan, are you SURE that you want to buy this toy? It costs TEN weeks of allowance."
  • "Yes."
  •    We were driving home from the mall.  We couldn't wait to open the new toy.
  • "This is the best toy ever."
  •   "Let's open it now!"
  • Target has a large toy department with many tempting items we want to buy.
  •  "I think it's a waste, but it is your money.  Very well, you can keep it."
  •  I hope that he says yes.
  • "Can we keep it?"
  •  "Can they keep the laser tag toy?"
  • While waiting in line, Mom tried to talk me and my brother out of buying the toy. It was expensive, and there could be better ways of spending our money.
  • "This is way to loud!"
  • Why did we buy this annoying toy?
  • "How can I hide and sneak up on Lucas?  This loud toy gives me away!"
  • The car ride seemed to take forever. Mom did not want us to open the new toy until our Dad approved the purchase at home.
  •   "All of these games look great!"
  • I can't wait to get some new PS4 cartridges.
  •  "I want them all!"
  • Lucas and I were eagerly hoping to keep the new toy and play with it right away.
  • My brother and I were disappointed because we spent a lot of money on a toy that wasn't fun to play with.
  • We were excited to get new games at Game Stop.
