Storyboard Text

  • oxygen
  • In the atmosphere carbon is attached to oxygen, in the gas called carbon dioxide
  • carbon
  • oxygen
  • sunlight
  • Green plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and they produce glucose, this is called photosynthesis.
  • plants trap the suns light energy, this energy is then converted to ATP
  • photosynthesis
  • Animals eat plants to get energy trapped during photosynthesis. The cow is eating grass and it uses glucose as in input for cellular respiration as the cow breaks down the food co2 is released into the atmosphere, this is called respiration.
  • carbon dioxide leaves the ground from the cows poop.
  • carbon dioxide
  • when living organisms die their bodies decompose, as animals die when their body decomposes into the ground they then become fossil fuels because of chemical reactions and high change of pressure.
  • co2
  • fossil fuels in the earth are dug up and are used for energy.
  • Cows are taken back to factory's where their meat is harvested, carbon dioxide is released
  • As the family is cooking they are releasing co2 as well, by cooking on the grill. The grill releases co2 into the atmosphere and the process begins again!
