This is an example of character vs. character. Bob Ewell is mad at Atticus so he beats him up and asks if he is too scared to fight. Atticus walks off after saying he was too old.

This is an example of character vs. self. Scout is being yelled at for doing something she should not have. She did this because she had done stuff like this with Jem before. But now she has to choose to keep going or not.
