  • Black Hawk was born in 1767 in Sauk Village, Illinois, United States. He died on October 03, 1838 in Keokuk Iowa, United states. Black Hawk was a tribal leader.
  • A noble Fight
  • Black Hawk has led many tribes. He is the war chief of the Sauk Indians. He has led Sauk, Fox, Kickapoo, and How Chunk. His original tribe is the Sauk tribe.
  • Coming Home
  • In 1832 Black Hawk, Who had been forced to relocate to Iowa in 1830, led some 1000 Sauk's, Foxes, and Kickapoo's including women and children back across Mississippi to the Illinois with the intention of resettling there
  • Black Hawk had led his people in a noble fight to preserve their tribal lands in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
  • Black Hawk then returned to his family at Sauk village
