The buses in Montgomery were segregated. This meant that there were separate seat on buses for white and black people.
One day Rose Parks decided to refuse to give up her seat for a white person. So then she was arrested.
The black people of Montgomery decided to start off a bus boycott.
They did anything to avoid getting on buses, such as walk or use a different mode of transport.
So then the buses began to go out of business, as no one was getting on them.
So, the result of the Bus Boycott was that the segregation was ended and black people got equal rights to white people.
