Once upon a time, a boy named Jeremiah was sent on a wild goose chase for a guy he didn't know. You see, all he really knew was that the guy stole his wallet a few days ago. The chase had led Jeremiah to somewhere in New York City with two companions, an street kid named Cory, and her blind cat, Love, who had what Cory called 'a heart of gold' despite the cat's hatred of Jeremiah.
It's pretty here. Besides, look at Love, she's as merry as a day is long!
Cory, why are we here?
That's okay, you don't need to. The man you're looking for is near here. Come on, the game is afoot!
Oh, for goodness sake, Cory. I really don't get you.
Why're we on a subway?
Shush. Do you recognize that man over there?
Yes! That's the guy who stole my wallet! Look, he has it right now!
Excuse me, sir, I believe you have something of ours.
And so, with the man cornered, Jeremiah got his wallet back, after a turmoil of arguing. The police came to get the thief. With that, Cory, Love, and Jeremiah headed home from their wild goose chase. All's well that ends well. The end!
