The chapter begins as Jonas's family unit start with dream telling. Lilly and Mother both tell their dreams, but when Jonas tells his dream (which he usually doesn't dream) It gets a bit awkward and embarrassing
Jonas admits his embarrassing dreams, and his parents reassure him that they have been expecting this to happen and give him a special pill as treatment
After Jonas is reassured by his parents that stirrings are common, Jonas takes the pill given to him by his parents. Walking to school, Jonas tries to think about the stirring, but the feeling fades. He describes how he wants to feel it again.
