I believe that I have purchased a bottle of Amontillado, however to be sure I will need an expert to confirm it- perhaps I will ask Luchresi for help.
Amontillado? I must see it!
No, no good sir, I cannot possibly trouble you, I am sure you have more important buissnes to attend to.
I assure I have not got anything to do tonight, I must see this Amontillado.
After being insulted by Fortunato, Mr. Montresor plans a revenge by exploiting Fortunato's one weakness- his love for wine.
That's a bad cough, you really shouldn't go into the damp vault, lets head back, I will just ask Luchresi for help.
Don't worry, it's nothing, lets just get to the vaults.
At a carnival, Mr. Montresor tricks Fortunato into leaving with him, by telling him that he has come upon what he believes may be a rare wine- Amontillado.
Ha Ha, very good joke, now we really should be going, we dont want to be late to the palazzo.
You will rot here forever!
Mr. Montresor fakes denying letting Fortunato go to see the Amontillado, so that Fortunato grows more and more interested, until Mr. Montresor completely convinces him to come to the Montresor wine vaults.
No one insults me!
The body of Fortunato lay within the catacomb walls, untouched, for half a century. In pace requiescat!
Mr. Montresor lures Fortunato into his house and then into the catacombs, all the while pretending like he doesn't really want Fortunato to come with him.
Mr. Montresor traps Fortunato, by using a chain to hold him, and then piling up rocks to trap him completely within the catacomb wall.
