  • A political party called the National Party had gained control of all South Africa's Parliament.
  • Stage Four: Revolution
  • The blacks and whites were not allowed to live and work in the same area. All restaurants were separated by color. When people in South Africa wanted to get married it was illegal to get married to a person from a different race.
  • Stage Five: Recovery
  • Thank you I love you!!!
  • The ANC had organized the marches, strikes and all the protest. During these protests the police had shot and killed 69 people in Sharpeville, South Africa.
  • Nelson Mandela was still leading them while he was in prison.the government did not like the protest or violence so they had just reacted violently.
  • South Africa had elected a new president F. W. DE Klerk. he had ordered that Nelson Mandela Should be sent free Prison in 1990. Later on Nelson Mandela was the first black president in South Africa.
