That sure is a lotta pollution, I need to put this to an end!
AHHH, Is that NO2 and SO2? It can't be! I feel strange!
Ahah! All you H2O are about to be ACID RAIN!
I don't feel too good, that gosh darn acid rain!
Amanda looks at the factories which are emitting SO2 (Sulfur Dioxide) and NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide). Amanda disagrees about how doing every day activity, such as driving a car, puts this pollution in the air. Instead, she rides her bike every day
The Nitrogen Dioxide and Sulfur Dioxide react with the rain in the clouds forming the Acid Rain which is precipitation which is acidic rain with pollutants in it.
The acid rain falls and the plant life which starts to damage it. These trees will be used in the city, too bad the people there haven't realized yet how much damage they have caused. If they have less pollutants in the air, all will be well again!
