As he was about to open the cage something rushed across the bushes. Ayan cautiously walked over to the bushes and peaked in and saw a man. Ayan asked him “what’s your name and he answered Cabeza de Vaca.” Ayan had asked him, “What’re you doing here.”
“I’m freeing my people Cabeza de Vaca exclaimed. He then ran towards the cages but then the people from the karankawas woke up and captured de Vaca. He then started begging Ayan to let him free, so Ayan opened the cage, so the pirates can be free and live a great life.
He let them go and Cabeza de Vaca asked Ayan if he wanted to go along with them to explore more land. He said of course because that was the whole point of his exploration. Ayan and the crew started their mission and they headed towards Mexico where they would walk about 2,400 miles.
On the way, there was a plentiful number of trees rivers and resources. Ayan had never seen such beauty in his entire life. Just when he thought everything was going good, they ran into something.
Something big. Something ferocious.Something scary. It was a coyote.
It approached Ayan and his crew very slowly. Pacing back and forth, circling around the crew. They were scared for their life because hungry and ferocious creatures like this don’t just go away and leave you alone. Just when the coyote was about to attack, an arrow almost strikes him. The coyote then leaves the scene.
