  • Jessica is 11 years old and in 6th grade. She is from a middle class family who values education.
  • "This is so frustrating! I don't get it!"
  • Jessica enjoys choir and has portrayed the lead role of "Annie".
  • Jessica has good social skills; described by her peers as smart, cute, and fun. Areas of strength are projects, group work, and hands-on learning.
  • Jessica likes school, but struggles in reading and math. As a result, she lacks self-esteem in some academic areas.
