  • There were three estates people lived on. The first estate were wealthy individuals. The second estate lived as rich nobles and owned 20% of land. The third estate had no jobs and high taxes
  • I'm super rich!
  • I am so proud of the land I owe. I have a rich happy family
  • I hate the government and I'm poor
  • King Louis XIV and his wife Antoinette were able to take the thrown. This was during a time when there were no jobs, high cost of living, and starvation due to high crops and shortage. They gave very little attention to the problems and decided to spend money instead. Due to the amount of spending, France went bankrupt.
  • They are such stingy bastards!
  • The 3rd estate was made up of 98% of the population; they decided to make a national assembly
  • We need to make a national assembly!
  • The third esate started to rebel and created the Declaration of the Rights of man saying that all men have equal rights, freedom of speech etc. Life, Liberty and Fraternity became a cry. In addition, church lands were sold to pay off debt.
  • We are now bringing in the Declaration of the Rights! Men, you are now equal and free to say what you want. However, we will have to sell church land to pay off the debt from the king and queen.
  • The King and Queen escape to Austria, but was spotted and was told to go back to France. The Assembly was created a limited constitutional monarchy and handed power over to the legislative branch. The branch was split into three categories; radicals, moderates and conservative.
  • NO! There needs to be less changes! The government is just fine are you crazy??
  • There needs to be more changes to the government!
  • I can agree with both of you guys!
  • We will create a legislative branch that will be split up into three branches! Conservative, radicals and moderates.
  • France went to war with Austria and Prussia, but was ill-equipped. This caused citizens to loot and riot. Later on, King Louis XVI was found guilty and put to death
  • Do you know what to do? Do you have any equipment?
