The Proclamation of 1763 is important because it was the first thing that really made things start to change. Right after the French and Indian war, The proclamation was set to make sure the colonists did not colonize past the Appalachian Mountains.

The Stamp Act was one of the Intolerable Acts that was passed to keep control of the colonies. The Stamp Act was when Great Britain taxed all of the newspapers and papers that are printing.

The tea act was when the King taxed tea and the colonists got very mad. This anger led to the Boston tea party which was when a group of colonists called the Sons of Liberty spilled all of the tea being imported into the Boston harbor.
