Hi! Welcome to the Function Plane, we will be taking off shortly!
What a drag!
The airplane flying in the sky is an example of friction drag, this is when air molecules actually rub against the plane making it slower. That's why airplanes have specific designs, so that the drag isn't very effective!
Magnetism is very important while flying a plane! Our magnetic compass helps us in the sky and is quite attractive!
Wait! Where did Jeff go?
Bungee jumping, but don't worry, the elastic force will bring me back up!
Sorry about that, it's just so fun! What are we gonna do now?
We have to land the plane!
Thank you for joining us on this interesting flight.
The weight of the plane causes gravity to weigh it down, when it's in the air it is defying the gravitational force. So when the plane needs to land, it goes with the force of gravity and falls downwards with some resistance so that it is safe for landing.
