  • Women in the 1500's were put at a disadvantage for their future. In the 1500's, teaching girls how to read and write was considered unnecessary.  Also, women were proven illegal.  Women in the 1500's were very restricted on what they can or cannot do.  Men believed that most women weren't good enough to be able to gain the same treatment and knowledge as they did.   • Women in the 1500's were put at a disadvantage for their future. In church, girls at birth were persuaded that they were tools of the devil who lured men from God to the devil. Women were also believed to be trouble makers. Men also believed women in the 1500's were mostly considered criminals. They believed women were only there to prevent men from achieving their goals. Also, most churches and parents believed it was considered unlucky to be born a women. LC
  • Women in the 1500's were put at a disadvantage for their future.  If a women was lucky enough to get an education, they would be performing their incorrect roles. Also, men believe that their perfect role for women was to serve and obey men. This evidence proves my answer because back in the 1500's, women had limited decisions. They were often stereotyped by basic women standards of maid work and knitting. Men believe that was their only role women could fulfill in their life. LC
