Storyboard Text

  • The Great Depression started with the stock market crash.
  • Oh no! I should've sold my stocks earlier, because now my stocks are worth significantly less!
  • Then, President Roosevelt proposed New Deal.
  • New Deal
  • Hmmmm okay so this won't make us fully recover, but it'll still help. Sounds good to me.
  • Meanwhile, a Dust Bowl was going on
  • Water is becoming very scarce. ... I'm not sure if I'm going to make it... please lord just let it rain
  • At this time, World War II was still going on, which greatly impacted civilians.
  • Due to the shortage of money, I must join Tinker’s wartime workforce, so that I can earn enough money to support my family.
  • Leon C. “Red” Phillips, pushed balanced budget  to try to end this economic depression.
  • This is briefly what the Great Depression was. (Disclaimer: I apologize for the historical inaccuracy of the clothing, backgrounds, etc. My options were very limited, and a portion of my backgrounds are irrelevant to the scene)
