  • Newton's First Law of Motion- An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same velocity unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
  • Newton's First Law of Motion By: Lucie Finley, #4
  • Hmm.. Basketball looks fun.
  • Come on, Come on!
  • Oh no!, the school bus and car both have a flat tire! I wonder how long it will take us to push if we can push them to the garage?
  • The ball is balanced because it is not moving and because it has a net force of 0N.
  • Newton's Second Law of Motion By: Lucie Finley, #4
  • Newton's Second Law- Acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the amount of net force and inversely proportional to the mass of an object.
  • The basket ball is experiencing an unbalanced force because it is now going up and down.
  • It will stay in motion until it hits the back board because the back board will act as an unbalanced force and stop the motion.
  • That was hard work I could use a cold drink!
  • Wonder what would happen if two men pushed the vehicles with the same force? Will the heavy push and the lighter car go the same distance?
  • The car which has less mass accelerated faster than the school bus with more mass.
  • Oh yeah!! Try pushing a GIANT SCHOOL BUS!!!
