  • I'll love you, dear, I'll love you till China and Africa meet
  • After FDR got sick with polio, Eleanor stepped up her role in politics in order to help FDR's campaign. She mainly focused on woman's rights
  • I'm so proud of your efforts working with the Women's Trade Union League and the League of Women Voters.
  • She chaired the platform committee for women's issues for the National Democratic Committee.
  • Stop treating us like we don't have the same rights as all men!
  • We aren't allowed to adopt any of the woman's recommendations and you must stay outside the room when we make final decisions!
  • Eleanor organized a very successful get-out-the-vote campaign as well as made it clear that she thought it was well past time that women should be involved and take part in politics.
  • "Women must learn to play the game as men do."
  • FDR was proud of Eleanor's accomplishments and used her accomplishments as groundwork to win the presidential election in 1932.
  • Don't be snarky Eleanor.
  • Wow! You won that campaign ALL by yourself.
  • Eleanor urged the Roosevelt administration to hire qualified women for executive level positions. She also urged women to speak their mind on politics, policy, as well as their individual hopes and dreams.
  • Franklin! Everyone isn't taking our ideas seriously. Just because we are women doesn't mean we can't get say.
