Iqbal's gone He's gone He's gone
All over Pakistan, there are slaves. This is the story of a slave called Iqbal. In the countryside of Pakistan, there is a old barn , in that barn lived eleven carpet slaves . They work 12-16 hours a day making carpets for Hussain khan, their master. They get half an hour breaks twice a day, that's all.
Master is going to be sooooo angry
One day, Iqbal arrived. Everybody thought he was normal, but then they saw his carpets, they were so beautiful and he worked so quickly . He began telling everyone that they were never going to pay off their debt and go back home to their families. He also told everyone about how he was going to escape slavery, no one believed he was going to do it but he seemed very confident in himself.

I thought he was my friend.....
Iqbal wanted to show Hussain Khan that he wasn't a slave, so he ripped the carpet that Hussain could have sold for a lot of money. Hussain got extremely angry and whipped him. He also imprisoned Iqbal for 3 days without giving him food or water. Iqbals friend Fatima, helped him get through the hot days and nights he spent in that dark, scorpion filled dungeon.
how does he do it????
After he got out from the dungeon, he ran away.
I can't belive he just..... left us.
Then some police found him and dragged him back to Hussain Khan. But the police did not arrest Hussain ( for enslaving children ). Instead, Hussain gave them some money and told them to go away , so that is exactly what the policemen did. Nobody was saved.
