Storyboard Text

  • yes God
  • Abraham was a kind and holy man who had a wife and one son, Issac one night he was praying to God, and God said to him to sacrifice Issac. Abraham was sad that Gd had asked him to do this because Abraham only had one son that he loved very much, but he obeyed God anyway.
  • do not kill your son
  • the next day, Abraham set off on his journey with his son and  took  a donkey to a mountain in which god had shown him. He brought some wood to build an altar, on which he would sacrifice his son.
  • Abraham arrived at the mountain in which God had showed him and then built an altar. Then he lay his son down on the altar and raised up his knife, about to kill Issac, his one and only son.
  • thank you God
  • but before Abraham had even brought down his knife to kill his son, an angel appeared in front of him. "Abraham! Abraham! do not kill your son, for God has seen that you trust him and his plans and that you are not afraid to follow the will he has for you and your son." and then the angel had gone.
  • when Abraham came back into focus , he saw that there was a ram stuck in a bush behind him. so he took his son off the altar and sacrificed the ram instead, thanking God for his mercy, then stared his journey back home.
  • that nigh when Abraham got home, he went to the garden and prayed to God, thanking him for his mercy and love. God was happy that Abraham had obeyed him, and blessed him. "I shall bless you with as many descendants as the stars in the sky." God said. Abraham thanked God once more and ended his prayer feeling happy and loved.
