The battle of lexington and concord was on April 19th, 1775. The captain of the American side John Parker said "Stand you ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here". The British leader in this battle was General Gage. The Americans won the battle, the British retreated back to Boston.
Bunker Hill happened June 17th, 1775 with the American leader William Prescott and his people going against British leader William Howe and his people. The British defeated the American side but even though they losted they still did damage to British side.

The American leader was Horatio Gates and the British leader was John Burgoyne. The Americans defeated the British and was known as the turning point of the Revolutionary war.
