  • "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!" - William Prescott
  • Trenton
  • The battle of lexington and concord was on April 19th, 1775. The captain of the American side John Parker said "Stand you ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here". The British leader in this battle was General Gage. The Americans won the battle, the British retreated back to Boston.
  • Saratoga
  •  Bunker Hill happened June 17th, 1775 with the American leader William Prescott and his people going against British leader William Howe and his people. The British defeated the American side but even though they losted they still did damage to British side.
  • Valley Forge
  • This battle happened on December 26th, 1776 and the Americans won the battle “The noise of the soldiers coming over and clearing away the ice, the rattling of the cannon wheels on the frozen ground, and the cheerfulness of my fellow-comrades encouraged me beyond expression…”  John Greenwood said who was Geroge Washington's (also the leader of the American side) personal dentist but did help him out someimes. The British leader was supposedly Johan rall.
  • Fort Sackville
  • "....You Desired Me to Send Morgan and the Light Infantry, and Support Them With My Division." - Benedict Arnold. The battle happened on septemebr 19th - October 17th 1777. The American leader was Horatio Gates and the British leader was John Burgoyne. The Americans defeated the British and was known as the turning point of the Revolutionary war.
  • Since Valley Forge is for the Americans I'll only say the American leader which was General Geroge Washington who lead them into Valley Forge. Valley Forge was an encampent through the winter time, or Decmebr 19th, 1777 - June 19th, 1778. We live uncommonly well for Camp…We have Milk and sugar in plenty…I have my hair powdered every day.…” - Samuel Ward JR.
  • Yet again another American victory forcing the British to surrender. The American leader was George Rogers Clark and the Britsh leaders was Henry Hamilton and Lord Conrwallis.  The battle was on Februrary 23rd and ended on Februrary 25th, 1779. “YOU MAY EXPECT NO MERCY” - George Rogers Clark
