Storyboard Text

  • Tantalus was judged to be set chin-deep in a river with extreme thirst. When he tries to drink, the river's water level decreases.
  • The dead who were judged to be neutral in life were sent back to the Field of Asphodel for all eternity.
  • Those who were exceptionally wonderful in life were sent to the Elysian Fields. The Elysian Fields were in a constant state of festival. The dead here have the choice to be reborn on Earth.
  • The souls who were reborn three times and were judged to be worthy of the Elysium Fields could go to the Isles of the Blest. The dead who lived here were truly the best of the dead.
  • Hades and his queen, Persephone, lived in a great palace in Tartarus.
  • Hades was a god of great avarice, jealousy, and violence. He was very proud of the size of his kingdom, and allowed no living to leave Tartarus with only two exceptions.
