  • Tom Buchanan hits myrtle in the face
  • Daisy runs over and kills Myrtle Wilson
  • George Wilson kills Gatsby 
  • Myrtle kept repeating his wife's name "Daisy" to his face and in retaliation Tom hit myrtle in her face and broke her nose. "Daisy! Daisy! Daisy! I'll say it whenever I want to!"
  • Daisy gets emotional over Gatsby's shirts
  • Earlier in the novel, Gatsby and Tom had switched cars when going into town. Unknowingly, Myrtle thought it was Tom in the yellow car but instead it was Daisy driving and she was ran over leading into her death. "So we drove towards death through the cooling twilight"
  • Tom Tells George that Gatsby ran over and killed Myrtle
  • George shoots Gatsby because he believes that he purposely was the one who ran over and killed his wife Myrtle Wilson. "The gardener saw Wilson's body a little way off in the grass, and the holocaust was complete
  • Gatsby sees Daisy  for the first time in five years
  • Gatsby toured daisy around his house and was very ostentatious with his belongings. He then throws around his foreign shirts and Daisy cries due to her being overwhelmed by his wealth. "It makes me sad because I've never seen such beautiful shirts before"
  • Myrtle was just killed by gatsby's car with Daisy driving it. Tom doesn't actually know who was driving, but tells george it was Gatsby's yellow car that hit Myrtle. "It was a yellow car"
  • Nick invites his cousin Daisy and Gatsby's former lover over to his house. Gatsby comes back from being outside in the rain and they awkwardly see each other again for the first time in five years. "You always have a green light that burns all night at the end of your dock"
