Have a decent organization for your stuff
Sophomore year I decided to take Latin because I heard it was the best world language class and that it the easiest. When I got to the class, I was very uninterested and struggled to learn as well as everyone else. I knew that taking the class was a mistake and that it wasn't for me. I still have this problem and will continue to have til the end of this year.
One time I had a huge test in the upcoming period after lunch and I planned to use my time to study instead of eating and socializing. Instead, I was lazy and did the exactly what I didn't want to do. When it came time to take the test, I wasn't confident and didn't know enough. I didn't do too poorly but could've done way better if I had studied.
When I first began freshman year, My organization for my papers was terrible. In some cases, I would lose my homework or notes needed and it affected me negatively. To fix this problem, I had certain spots and places in my book bag for each paper so I would know where to put it.
