Storyboard Text

  • So, you wanna write a book? Make a story? Share your world with the actual world?
  • Lemme tell ya some things you wanna know first.
  • One thing that you can do before writing anything is reading books by other professional writers. This will give you an idea of how others write. It can also give you a brush-up on grammar and writing in general.
  • Next, think of a few characters. Maybe a setting, conflict, and maybe a few twists. Everyone always make an argument that you have to make a plot first, but sometimes you need to set up the scene before you can call "action".
  • After you have your ideas and the world finally all laid out, set the plot in motion. Get the main character to go through a conflict and come to a clean resolution.
  • After you have a plot, story, ideas, all the jazz, begin writing. The more you write, the better you get. Writing is like any skill, practice makes perfect. Keep with it and stay determined.
