Charles? We don't have a Charles in the kindergarten?
I don't understand. My son, Laurie, has been telling me stories about Charle's bad behavior for a while now.
Laurie, your teacher siad that there were no 'Charles" in the kindergarten.
Can I go to the park with Chalres?
I forgive you, but be honest next time.
I was the one doing all the bad things, not Charles.
After hearing that there was no Charles in the kindergarten, Laurie's mother is very confused and upset that her son would lie to her. She finishes her meeting, and begins to head home. Believing that her son had been lieing to her, she plans on figuring out who "Charles" really is.
On her way home, Laurie's mother is met with her son at the doorstep of her house. Upon enterring the living room, Laurie asks if his mom will allow him and Charles to go to the park. Laurie's mom becomes upset, and explains to Laurie that the teacher said there were no "Charles" in the kindergarten.
Laurie confesses to his mother than he was actually "Charles". He explains that he was the one creating ruckus in the classroom and that he had so much fun while doing it that he wanted to tell his family about it. So, he made up a fake name for himself and secretly told his parents all the bad things he was doing. Laurie's mom was upset that Laurie had lied to her, but decided to forgive him since he admitted to his lies.
