  • "Adultery, John"
  • Ugh... John its adultery! Come on!!
  • And the last one.. uh...
  • Rev. Hale is introduced to the story and we see him interrogate Tituba who initially denies any relations she has with the devil.
  • The Trials
  • In this scene, we learn the crucial facts that Mary is a part of the court, that Elizabeth has been accused, and that she gave Elizabeth a poppet that was purposefully tampered with and made by Abigail. It once again proves Abigail dislikes her and that she is out to get her.
  • For Elizabeth
  • You MUST come with me and confess the truth!
  • Here, we see Hale interviewing the accused Elizabeth and the suspicious John. In this scene, John is unable to recite his 10 commandments fully, leaving out the one major sin he committed; adultery.

  • I am telling you! Putnam is a fake!!
  • In this final scene of act 3, John forces Mary to come with him to testify the truth in court. This shows his love for Elizabeth and his desire to prove her innocence.
  • But... I can't!
