Social determinants of health to me are conditions in the environments in which people are born, live, learn, work, play, and, an age that affects a broad range of health, and quality of life, their outcomes, and their risks.
Wealth: can affect your socioeconomic status because depending on how much your income is annually is going to depend on how much you can spend on; healthcare food, your home etc.
Education: can affect your socioeconomic status because depending on what degree you have or if you have one at all will determine the job you receive after school and therefore will lead you to a better healthy lifestyle.
Income: can affect your socioeconomic status because the money you make annually will depend on how well and what type of lifestyle you will live. This includes your home, healthcare, food, etc..
Something that surprised me during my research is that some people often think that its the government's job to make sure you are living a healthy lifestyle. Now that may be a bit true but I believe that it is in your own hand's weather or not your going to be able to provide a healthy life for yourself and family.
I believe that if you put your mind to whatever it is that you are doing, whether its school, your job, or something your chasing. You should be doing it in a healthy manner. It's not about how much money you have or the degree you have, it's about being happy and healthy and living the best life possible.
