Storyboard Text

  •                                Mongols Rising
  • We attack Qara Khitai at dawn, we shall utterly destroy their armies!
  • Gaining territory
  • Your land, is now ours, your kingdom is now ours, your lives are now ours!
  • Continued Assualt
  • The great Mongol Empire, known as the world's largest empire, won their victories through sheer strength and brutality, as well as brilliant strategic plans and conquests. The Mongols best weapon, was also their worst hindrance, their main use of cavalry, had forced them to only conquer in warmer seasons, to allow their horses to graze.
  • Fear Spreads
  • The Mongols quickly destroyed towns and settlements all across Asia, de-populating entire regions, and gaining more territory, quickly replacing kingdoms with Mongol dominance, further spreading their influence.
  • The Largest Empire
  • With their empire growing, the Mongols still chose to expand, and continued to ravage villages and kingdoms, replacing them with Mongol leadership.
  • The Khan Legacy
  • If my body dies, let my body die, but do not let my country die
  • For the lucky villages that had yet to be invaded by the Mongols, they chose to flee, for better protection under their allied kingdoms, yet those  kingdoms were still destroyed anyways, under the Mongol war machine.
  • The Mongol Empire grew to be the largest empire for a reason, and that reason falls to the outside image of their brutality, lowering enemies morale, and instilling turmoil in kingdoms, this directly forced all power to go to the Mongols.
  • Approximate size of the Mongol Empire
  • Ghenghis Khan, and his immediate descendants ruled supreme at this empire, and with their control over most of Asia, they faced no other opponent to topple their strength, leaving the Mongols in charge of that vast territory, until their end at the hands of their infighting
