  • A king by the name Polydectes who wanted to marry a woman by the name of Danae, the one who gave birth to Perseus
  • I love you Danae and I wish too marry you
  • I love you too Polydectes
  • But Perseus stood in the way of Polydectes and would not let him marry his mother
  • I will not let you marry her!
  • So the king gave Perseus a "impossible" quest to distract him from the wedding: to kill the monster Medusa and bring her head back to him
  • I will do as you say
  • Perseus, I want you to kill the monster Medusa for me
  • Perseus accepted the quest and, after given wings and a sword from both Athena and Hermes, set off
  • He eventually reached the cave of the evil Medusa and did as he was told
  • The king was surprised to see Perseus alive with the head of Medusa in front of his throne
  • Yes with the head of Medusa
  • Your... your alive!
