  • This is joe schmoe, and he likes to use his phone before going to bed.
  • The phone highly stimulates Joe's brain sending it into an awake state.
  • This is what Joe's brain looks like when he uses his phone before sleeping.
  • Joe's mind is exercising but his body needs rest.  Now he can't sleep, all because of the phone. 
  • This is caused by the blue light in phones suppressing melatonin and preventing sleep from coming to Joe, leaving him tired and cranky.
  • Try turning on nighttime mode on your phone and avoid blue light, because you won't be running, but your brain will be off at a jog.
