  • we should set-up a meeting with our Union representative, we cannot continue to work like this.
  • ey Fadilaah, i'm good, I'm just stressed, its been over 5 year now earning the same wages, whats worse is the the cost of living is expensive, school fees for my kids has increases and same as the food, petrol etc
  • I thing we should really contact Sipho, so he can go and speak with Union and Management about our griviences.

  • Hi Sipho, sorry to disturb.we as employees feel we deserve an increase this year. the food prices have gone up, same as petrol, at this moment we feel like what we are earning is not enough to sastain us.
  • what Zolani is saying its true, so you as our shop steward we ask you to please speak to management about this issue and that we also need new work uniforms that have been promised.

  • as per call i made, our workers are not happy with their salaries, and i also have to admit their complaints are valid, i too am suffering with salary i'm getting, food prices and Petrol has increased drastically over 5 years.
  • I totaly agree, an increase is long over due, if the employer does not attend our demands we will have to go on a national strike and freeze all production.
  • I have to emphased that our main concerns are wages, Benefits, conditions of employment, job security, employment practices, training and heath and safety of all employees

  • in this scene: there a Local meeting taking place. the Shop steward is addreessing the issue of ABC employees. This is a meeting of Trade Unions:according to S23 of the LRA defines a Trade Union as an association of employees,whose purpose is to regulate relations between the employees and employers.
  • "No other option but to strike"in this seen the employers are negotiatin in "bad faith" they have reduced the 15% proposed to 5% which made the meeting to be adjorned as the federation could not accept anything less than 11%. the negotiations have hit a deadlock another meeting has been sheduled for tomorow to find amicable solution or prepare for strike.
