Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Dude I don't know man.
  • Luke, Why does everything in High School either suck or is just depressing?
  • Conflict
  • I mean, probably but I usually draw in my journal but I don't have that with me.
  • Hey do you think there is a better way to relieve this stress than to just complain about it?
  • Rising Action
  • I know, but what if we tried writing some poetry? That's what we do in Poetry Club.
  • I guess we can try that. But I don't really think that's my style.
  • Steven and I complain together about how awful High School is.
  • Climax
  • Come on, just give it a chance.
  • Ok, I'll give it a chance.
  • Steven asks me if I know of a better way to relieve stress than just complaining about it. I'm not much help since I forgot my art journal at home.
  • Falling Action
  • What are you going to write a poem about?
  • Steven suggests that instead of creating a drawing or painting we write some poetry. I'm fairly hesitant to the idea to begin with.
  • Conclusion
  • I Think thats a great topic to write about and relieve some stress.
  • Steven urges me to give it a try. I finally give in and decide to try writing about what is bothering me.
  • Steven helps me choose a topic that is causing me a lot of pain at this point in time. Depression.
  • I think I'm going to write about how my depression is affecting my everyday life.
  • Steven encourages me to write about my depression. After writing I realize that it really helped me figure a few things out about my life and my choices.
  • Haha. Yea, it just really sucks and I'm glad writing about it helped a little. Thanks man.
