Antigone's pride is not going to let her show weakness towards Creon. She is determined to bury her brother with full honor, and she is not going to let anyone stop her.
"Creon is not strong enough to stand in my way" (35)
Creon tells his son, Haemon, how disrespectful her actions were. He is too full of pride to take it easy on her. Which causes Haemon to turn against him.
Of all the people in this city, only she has had contempt for my law and broken it" (24-25)
Teiresias comes to tell Creon how much he has disappointed the gods. When the citizens prayed, the gods ignored. Creon's pride has damaged everyone.
"The only crime is pride" (36)
Creon is so blinded with pride that he does not see why Antigone did what she did. He only saw her as a traitor. He does not realize how honorable she was, until it is too late.
"He would: for you honor a traitor as much as him" (110)
Haemon realized that his father was being cruel. He is not being respectful of his people. Creon is so concerned about his own appearance that he cannot see what he is doing to his people. His pride is leaving them out in the dust.
"Do not believe that you alone can be right" (74)
Antigone and Creon were both so full of self- worth, that they did not see each other's side. Antigone continued to go against Creon, never once did she deny what she did.
" Is of no importance; but if I had left my brother lying in death unburied, I should have suffered. Now I do not." (70-72)
