  • Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
  • Cytoplasm is a substance that fills the cell.
  • Chloroplast converts solar energy into sugar.
  • Nucleus is where the genetic material is held.
  • Ribosomes are where proteins are made in the cell.
  • Vacuoles store food, water, & sugar.
  • A cell wall is a hard organelle outside the membrane.
  • Unicellular is having only one cell.
  • The cell membrane separates the cell from the outside.
